The course is a combination of lectures and hands on skill stations, focusing on the success of oxygenation and ventilation through basic and advanced techniques. CAMAN is focused on the role of nurses in various settings, mirroring the AIME Course for Physicians - Airway Interventions and Management in Emergencies.
What is covered?
Case-based clinical decision making
PSA- Procedural Sedation
Awake, delayed and rapid sequence intubation
Unique, customized AIME clinical videos
Clinician to instructor ratio of 5 or 6:1

Pharmacology of RSI
Post Intubation Management
Elective Extubation in the ER
Who is the course geared for? 1. RN's working in any setting , ED, PACU, ICU; CEC's, DND, Transport or anywhere that you would be expected to participate in advanced airway management. 2. Many remote nurses have taken CAMAN a number of times as there are no physicians or RT's in most locations. 3.. LPN's who function as a member of a team in any of the above settings.
